Interior Colours for 2022

For this month’s blog, we are taking a closer look at colour forecasting.

Colour forecasting is a creative process where designers and experts meet to collaborate on future colour trends. Members of the Colour Marketing Group, founded in 1962, work together to produce colour forecasts for North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America. These forecasts are then combined to form the World Colour Forecast, which is revealed every November.

The economy, the environment, politics, sports, demographics, social issues, and technology all play a role to get an understating of societal and consumer mindsets. Colour forecasting is an important part in the fashion and textile industry, published up to two years in advance of each season.
